I promised you a second outfit from our honeymoon and here it is. The location was the mighty Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. It was just the most beautiful piece of architecture that I have seen in the Middle East so I had to shoot the outfit there. And since it is a holy place for muslims women have to cover up the head, the knees and shoulders. For me it was a walk in the park choosing my outfit because I had lots of practise in Iran where we had to dress like this all day every day. ( In case you forgot – here is the Iran Travel Diary )
I also wanted to fit in with the mosque so I went for an all white look. Only the accessories are grey, silver and gold. White was definitely the colour to go for because it was boiling hot ( 39 degrees ) and the materials were so light and airy – just the perfect and also appropriate outfit.
