Fashionistas Afternoon Tea

Fashionistas and Cakes Lovers – this is for you! That is the perfect combination of sweets and fashion. An Afternoon Tea every once in a while is always a good idea. The longer the break the more intense is the flavour – at least that’s my experience. Every time I decide to do one I end up at The Berkeley Hotel because that is the Fashionista Afternoon Tea called Pret-a-Portea which is the best afternoon tea in London. The Cakes change every fashion season and are inspired by the catwalk looks of famous fashion designers like Matthew Williamson, Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Jimmy Choo or Burburry. You can eat as many cakes as you like and can taste every tea there is on the menu. So don’t overdo it to prevent a sugar shock.

Last wednesday was actually my fifth time at the Berkeley and every single time is amazing. Although I have to say that most of the cakes were very moussy. Don’t get me wrong they were absolutely delicious but a little more crunchyness or macaron like pastries would have been a great addition to the selection. But I will be back soon – the Pret-a -Portea will change this month for the next season. So be prepared so see another Afternoon Tea Post soon.
